Xiaomi has just launched the brand new 55 inch Mi TV 4S in china. Xiaomi, which has climbed to the top spot in the Indian smartphone segment in three years, is following a similar game plan to disrupt the TV segment. The Beijing-based company expects it to be a matter of time before its dominates the television category with its predatory pricing strategy to lure the price-conscious value-obsessed consumers.
Mi TV 4S is 4K TV with HDR display. It is an upgrade over the Mi TV 4 and comes with an AI voice assistant, a premium metal design and plenty of new features.

Xiaomi has used the quad-core Amlogic processor (e.g. 64-Bit 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 Quad-Core CPU + Mali-450 GPU @ 750Mhz) inside the Mi TV 4S, which is paired with 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM. Mi TV 4S have 55 inch IPS LCD panel with 4K resolution (e.g.3840 x 2160 pixels). Viewing angle is 178 degrees and HDR content playback ability. The refresh rate is 60 Hz and response time is 8ms. It has new metal frame design that looks awesome and bezels are very small from all sides. It sports more premium build than Mi TV 4A which was launched previously.
Coming to the audio, it has 8 watt stereo speakers and certified by Dolby Atmos. It supports DTS, DTS HD audio. Coming to the ports, the device have three HDMI 3.0 ports, optical audio input port, one RF cable input port, one ethernet5 port , two USB ports, one S-PDIF port. The device supports both wifi and Blutooth connectivity and comes with the remote controller. Like Mi TV 4 it runs Android based patchwall UI. This TV has an AI powered voice assistant.

Mi TV 4S is priced at CNY 2999(e.g. Rs31000) in china. Company has started pre-registration for the sale of Mi TV 4S. There is no words from xiaomi about the global availability of Mi TV 4S.
